Dancing into the Future programs offer students insight into a range of dance vocabularies and cultures. Through intensive workshop classes and residency programs, students learn technique and gain an understanding of the dance genre by studying directly with a variety of acclaimed dancers, choreographers and accomplished teaching artists. The residency focuses on a different dance style each year which prepares the students to see a related dance performance at BAM as part of the residency. This year the theme will be African dance. In addition, this year, we are offering a residency connected with The Flight Project for 7th - 12th grades. [include link to the performance description]
