After-school program at BAM Mar-May, 2004 Free of charge

High school juniors and seniors will become theater critics in this highly successful program now being offered for the sixth time. In an intensive ten-week program that takes place at BAM, selected students will work with a master teacher to learn more about theater and to hone their critical writing skills. Participants attend and review at least three BAM performances and meet with professional critics and theater artists. Past guests have included Ben Brantley, Margo Jefferson, Bonnie Marranca, Alisa Solomon, Linda Winer, Anthony Tomassini, Alex Ross, and John Dias. An anthology of the students' reviews is compiled at the end of the course. Both the program and theater tickets are at no cost for students.
