Friends of BAM is a vital community of theater, dance, music, and opera lovers who support BAM with annual membership contributions. BAM's adventurous programming and artistic achievements would not be possible without the contributions of our Friends.

As a Friend of BAM, you'll be connected to BAM's performing arts events and have access to special benefits designed to enhance your experience at BAM. Membership begins at the $75 level and benefits include:

 Priority notice of upcoming shows and events
 No handling fees on ticket purchases
 Invitations to working rehearsals
 Dining reservation privileges at the BAMcafé and the Diker    Gallery Café
 Access to the exclusive Natman Room member lounge

Friends of BAM Benefits
*The BAMshop is operated by Shakespeare & Co. Booksellers. Friends of BAM enjoy a 20% discount at the BAMshop and at all five Shakespeare & Co. bookstore locations in Manhattan and Brooklyn. *indicates non-deductible benefits
Friends ($75-$499)
Friends receive many benefits including priority notice of upcoming shows and events, no handling fees on ticket purchases, and invitations to working rehearsals.

Patrons ($500-$1,499 annually)
Patrons at the $500 level and above receive all Friends benefits, plus access to BAM Patron Services, our exclusive ticketing office, which offers patrons a special block of priority seats, personalized ticket handling, and an easy exchange policy with no ticket handling fees. In addition, patrons have access to our pre-performance ticket pick-up service at the Patron Table.

Patron Council  ($1,500-$4,999)
Producers Council ($1,500) and Chairman's Circle ($2,500) members receive all Patrons benefits, and are invited to one or both of our annual Galas.

Next Society & Visionary  ($5,000 and above)
Next Society members ($5,000-$49,999) can support specific programs of their choice. Benefits include opportunities to reserve the Natman Room member lounge and Diker Gallery Café for personal events. Visionary members ($50,000 and above) receive special credit listings for making an entire program or presentation possible. BAM will work with each contributor to create a customized package designed to meet each contributor's needs.

Exclusive reservation privileges at the Diker Gallery Café and the BAMcafé
Friends of BAM can make dinner reservations at the BAMcafé (located directly above the main lobby of the BAM Howard Gilman Opera House), and Diker Gallery Café, a quiet dining room that overlooks the BAMcafé and serves buffet style dinners.

Natman Room member lounge
An intimate private donor lounge that offers Friends of BAM a comfortable environment in which to relax before performances and during intermissions, featuring members-only coat check and beverage services. Patrons ($500 and higher) may also use the Natman Room for VIP pre-curtain ticket pick-up at the Patron Table.

More information about Friends of BAM: Friend and Patron membership is annual, with an expiration date of either the following December (on gifts received from September-January) or the following June (on gifts received from February-August). Patron Council, Next Society, and Visionary members receive benefits for two seasons (Fall/Spring or Spring/Fall).

Membership packets, including a membership card and a contribution receipt, will be mailed within three weeks of the date the contribution is received by BAM. Membership benefits are subject to change.
